Senior Quality Assurance and Safety Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance and Safety Professional to join our team at Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK.
Key Responsibilities- To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, implementing procedures and practices across the business to meet these standards.
- To serve as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on regulations and standards for applicable areas of expertise.
- To conduct internal investigations to determine root cause failures using LHT system Q/star and develop effective solutions with action owners.
- To collaborate with the ProX process centre on developing processes, including Regulation Management as part of the Maintenance Organisation Exposition.
- To work with the Training Department on controlling employee authorisation, maintaining employee rosters and competence, when required.
- To maintain accuracy of documentation.
- To complete supplier approval and customer questionnaires.
- To train new employees in departmental tasks.
- To undertake project work and reasonable tasks to develop Quality and EHS processes.
- A minimum of an A-level equivalent qualification.
- Ideal degree qualified in engineering and/or a business function or experience in a similar role coupled with secondary education (A Levels) or BTECH/HNC (Desirable).
- Experience of EASA Part 145 & 21J and FAA CFR 145 requirements.
- Experience of working within a Quality Management System -preferably with an ISO91XX background.
- Practical investigation and working experience in Quality & Safety functions.
- Or practical experience working within a landing gear facility or similar MRO (minimum 3 years).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Must be well-organized and able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Able to analyse for root causes and then create sustainable actions and improve quality.
- Travel may be required for LHT Forums and Training.
- Candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
- Mandatory Training will be required.
The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
