About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Procurement Planner to join our team at LG Electronics U.K. Ltd. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management team, you will play a critical role in maintaining forecast performance and supply plan information flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve forecasting processes in collaboration with Marketing, Sales & Supply Chain Managers to enhance accuracy and reduce volatility.
  • Analyze historical trends, market trends, and sales forecasts to generate weekly forecasts, identifying trends on fast & slow-moving products.
  • Monitor performance measures and supplier/customer non-conformance to enable process improvement in the Supply Chain.
  • Build collaborative relationships with key customers to drive forecast accuracy, process improvements, and information flow.
  • Ensure regular review and reporting of progress to the Demand Planning Manager, Sales Head, SCM director, and European Supply Chain.
Requirements
  • Prior knowledge and experience of Forecasting and Supply Chain principles, strong supply planning experience.
  • Good overview of the commercial process, production planning, and retail interface/order fulfillment.
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel and confidence using new systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work assertively to debate/challenge forecasts or tackle issues.
  • Logical common sense and proactive approach to problem-solving.
