About the Role
">We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker. The role will involve supporting people with learning disabilities in their daily lives, promoting independence and encouraging them to engage in various activities within the local community.
">Responsibilities
">- Supporting individuals with personal care needs, including bathing and dressing
- Assisting with daily activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
- Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests
- Accompanying individuals on outings and appointments within the community
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude, be empathetic and understanding, and have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to work effectively as part of a small team and be flexible with regards to working hours, which may include weekends and sleep-in shifts.
">What We Offer
">As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £23,088 per annum (pro rata), plus excellent benefits, including a £500 onboarding payment, 28 days' holiday (including bank holidays) increasing with long service, DBS funding, private health care, and access to a range of rewards and benefits.
