Electrical Products Branch Manager Job Description

At Mitchell Maguire, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Products Branch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a branch and selling a wide range of distributed electrical products to M&E contractors and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a branch and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and grow the business.
  • Sell a wide range of electrical products to M&E contractors and end users, including manufacturing warehouses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the group commercial and sales manager to assist with sales activities and drive business growth.
  • Manage all aspects of the branch, including distribution, customer service, HR, administration, sales, and health and safety.
  • Provide training, development, and motivation to all branch staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Must have sales-focused branch manager experience within electrical wholesale.
  • Ideally, experience selling into installers/contractors.
  • Must be happy to go out and see customers to build relationships and generate sales.
  • Able to work autonomously and also as part of a team.
  • Ambitious, energetic, and enthusiastic.
  • Personable, driven, and a people person.
  • UK driving license.
  • IT savvy.
