Patient Safety Advocate

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Safety Advocate to collaborate with our clinical and non-clinical staff in shaping services that prioritise patient needs. The successful candidate will join our Quality and Performance Committee, Patient Experience Committee, and Quality Improvement Oversight Committee.
The role will involve supporting 15-Step service assessments, ensuring the patient voice is taken into account fairly, and acting as an advisor/critical friend to the hospital in developing and delivering patient safety and experience policies and strategies.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide a patient, carer, or lay perspective, and interact and network with other Patient Safety Partners across the private and public sector.
We are looking for someone with analytical thinking, personal integrity, and a passion for patient safety, who can contribute to initiatives that improve the quality of patient care.
