About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education. As an Autism Support Specialist, you will provide assistance to students with autism in both individual and group settings, supporting them with their classwork and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide student support in individual and group settings
  • Assist students with their classwork and daily activities
  • Implement and manage effective behaviour strategies
  • Help students navigate their daily routines
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Education Healthcare Plans (EHCPs)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Autism Support Worker or Teaching Assistant is preferred but not required
  • A positive, encouraging, and patient attitude
  • Proficiency in behaviour management techniques
