About the Role:

Creative Support Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Swanway, our independent Supported Living Service in Gateshead. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and other support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to service users, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Support individuals with a range of activities, including leisure and social activities, to enhance their quality of life.
  • Administer medication and perform general administrative duties, as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a positive and supportive environment for service users.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate a 'can-do approach', person-centred values, energy, and commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Strong work ethic and duty of care, with a commitment to contributing to a positive team approach.
