About the Role:

Creative Support Ltd is seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team at Swanway, our independent Supported Living Service in Gateshead. As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to support individuals with a learning disability and other support needs in a variety of activities, including going to discos, swimming, and going to the cinema.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care to service users
  • Administering medication
  • Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users
  • Carrying out general administrative duties and housing management tasks
  • Supporting individuals to achieve their dreams and ambitions

Requirements:

  • A minimum of twelve months experience of supporting people with learning disabilities
  • A 'can-do approach', person-centred values, energy, and commitment
  • A strong work ethic and duty of care
  • Ability to contribute to a positive team approach
