Event Planning Manager

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Event Planning Manager to join our team at Membership Bespoke. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality event planning and coordination services, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure successful events that meet target objectives and timelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to plan and deliver events, from conception to delivery and aftercare.
  • Manage event budgets, forecasting expenses and revenue, and reporting to senior management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including staff at all levels in member firms.
  • Design and deliver engaging events experiences, incorporating the latest trends and technologies.
  • Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisuals, and transportation.
  • Coordinate with speakers, performers, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate event success, making recommendations for future improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful events that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and event marketing software.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
