Role Overview
">- Vision for Education, part of The Edwin Group, seeks an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join their growing team in Preston.
About the Role
">- This is a fantastic opportunity to work with schools across the Preston and Lancashire area, recruiting high-quality teaching and support staff.
Key Responsibilities
">- Supporting the Branch Manager with branch growth
- Working with a large client base, including many schools that work exclusively with Vision for Education
- Using sales, business development, and marketing techniques to attract business from client schools
- Visiting clients to build and develop close working relationships
- Developing a good understanding of client schools, their culture, and environment
- Using social media to advertise positions and build relationships with candidates and employers
- Headhunting suitable candidates who may already be in work
- Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy
- Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews, and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
- Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants
- Briefing candidates about the responsibilities, salary, and benefits of the job
- Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients
- Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client
- Informing candidates about the results of their interviews
- Using our Salesforce system to manage bookings
- Coordinating sponsorship activities for client schools
Requirements
">- Minimum 1 year experience as a billing Recruitment Consultant in the education market
- Experience supporting/developing Trainee Recruitment Consultants
- Excellent communication and sales skills
- The ability to grow their desk
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and resilient
- The ability to act on their own initiative
- Professional and ethical approach to business
- Ability to forge and maintain relationships over the telephone and face-to-face
- Desire to exceed the highest levels of customer service
- Ability to operate effectively as part of a motivated team
- Act as an ambassador for the Group's ESG Strategy
