College SEN Teaching Assistant Position

We are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils who have special educational needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, and fostering their social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with class teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and well-being
- Provide one-on-one support to pupils with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Implement strategies to enhance social and emotional skills through positive reinforcement and encouragement
- Contribute to effective classroom management and facilitate engaging educational activities
- Regularly monitor and report pupil progress to teachers and parents/carers
