Job Description

To support the Fleet Manager and Superintendents in ensuring company vessels are maintained in a safe and seaworthy condition. This involves monitoring vessels to comply with statutory requirements, assisting in planned maintenance systems, and preparing reports for management and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor vessels to ensure compliance with safety procedures, plant and machinery regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining technical files and promulgating technical bulletins as necessary.
  • Coordinate and monitor services required for ship operation, including port services, agents, bunkering, storing, surveys, and contracting services.
  • Verify and authorise quotations for spares, supplies, and services for vessels not under shipboard management.


Candidate Requirements:
  • Fully completed cadetship/HND.
  • Degree in Quality or related discipline.
  • 3 Highers or Diploma or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Good organisation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
  • Proven ability to work to targets and deadlines.


This role offers an estimated salary of $60,000 per annum, depending on location.
