Event Coordinator

Liverpool Cathedral is a world-renowned events venue, hosting a diverse range of activities from intimate conferences to large-scale art installations. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional events that showcase the Cathedral's unique character.

Main Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Coordinate and administer the planning of corporate events, including gala dinners, concerts, awards evenings, and graduations, ensuring they meet customer expectations.
  • Operational and Administrative Functions: Take responsibility for operational and administrative functions to fulfill event needs, including site visits, client meetings, and event delivery.
  • Customer Service and Quality Delivery: Ensure that the Cathedral delivers excellent customer service and quality delivery, meeting customer expectations and Cathedral standards.
  • Diary Management: Help coordinate the Cathedral diary, ensuring that a complex pattern of events and bookings work harmoniously together.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the in-house team to help deliver the smooth running of Cathedral logistics.
  • Client and Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain client and supplier relationships, ensuring effective communication and delivery.

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to ensure event delivery meets customer expectations.
  • Ensure events are properly planned and delivered within budget and in line with Cathedral terms and conditions, policies, and booking processes.
  • Ensure events are appropriately risk assessed and documented.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cathedral's Events Team, working closely with the Enterprise team to generate income and contribute to the Cathedral's life and work. As an Event Coordinator, you will be an ambassador for the Cathedral, working with customers, clients, and suppliers to deliver exceptional events that showcase the Cathedral's unique character.
