Event Coordinator

Liverpool Cathedral is a world-renowned events venue, hosting a diverse range of activities from intimate conferences to high-profile art installations. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional events that showcase the Cathedral's unique character.

Main Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Coordinate and administer the planning of corporate events, including gala dinners, concerts, awards evenings, and graduations, ensuring they meet customer expectations.
  • Operational and Administrative Functions: Take responsibility for operational and administrative functions to fulfill event needs, including site visits, client meetings, and event delivery.
  • Customer Service and Quality Delivery: Ensure that the Cathedral delivers excellent customer service and quality delivery, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Diary Management and Logistics: Coordinate the Cathedral diary, ensuring that a complex pattern of events and bookings work harmoniously together, and work closely with the in-house team to deliver smooth logistics.
  • Client and Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain client and supplier relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to deliver successful events.

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the Cathedral's cultural events programme.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure events are properly planned and delivered within budget and in line with Cathedral terms and conditions, policies, and booking processes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Events Team at Liverpool Cathedral, working closely with the Enterprise team to generate income and contribute to the Cathedral's life and work. As an ambassador for the Cathedral, you will have sympathy with the faith and ideals that underpin its life.
