About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to join our team in Warton, Carnforth. As a key member of our Prognostics, Health and Usage Monitoring Engineering Team (PHUMS), you will play a vital role in shaping the design for support considerations of our core platform concepts.

The successful candidate will contribute to developing Prognostics, Health and Usage Monitoring (PHUM) solutions, provide engineering input to a complex and fast-paced programme of work, and engage with Customer and Industry SMEs to elicit, understand, and capture user and system requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop PHUMS engineering solutions within an international team
  2. Contribute to the engagement with Customer and Industry SMEs to elicit user and system requirements
  3. Contribute to PHUMS specifications and requirements during the design phase and oversee implementation
  4. Ensure integration of the PHUMS solution with other product development areas on the programme
Requirements
  • HND Level 5 or Degree qualified in a relevant engineering field
  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a major international combat air development programme during the early design life-cycle.
