We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability and Maintainability Expert to join our team in Warton, Carnforth. This exciting opportunity is part of the Prognostics, Health and Usage Monitoring Engineering Team (PHUMS) and involves working on a major international combat air development programme.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools. They will also possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to work effectively with customers and suppliers to define PHUMS requirements and specifications.

This role is responsible for developing concepts and contributing to strategies & plans throughout the life-cycle for the development and implementation of the PHUMS solution. The salary for this position is £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, plus an excellent benefits package.

To be considered for this role, you must be eligible for SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Prognostics, Health and Usage Monitoring (PHUMS) engineering solutions
  • Contributing to the engagement with Customer and Industry SMEs
  • Defining PHUMS requirements and specifications
  • Ensuring integration of the PHUMS solution with other product and service development areas
