Airworthiness and Maintenance Expert

The Airworthiness and Maintenance Expert role at BAE Systems offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the aviation industry. As part of our Corporate Air Travel team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operations of all company-operated aircraft. With exposure across various business units and contracted maintenance providers, this role provides a chance to gain comprehensive insights into the organisation's operations. You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, maintenance providers, and OEMs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the continuing airworthiness of the airline's fleet. - Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. - Provide technical support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft. - Plan and execute maintenance, supporting reliability, and addressing technical issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Estimated Salary: £40,000 + dependent on experience. - Essential: Good understanding of aircraft systems, continuing airworthiness, and relevant UK CAA and EASA regulations, including Part M, Part CAMO, and Part 145 requirements. - Experience in a CAMO/Technical Services role. - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
