Job Title: Senior Lighting Engineer Position

A leading role in product development for Go To Outsourcing, focusing on innovative lighting solutions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position requires a strong background in engineering design and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of new lighting products from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage production of CAD drawings, bill of materials, and technical specifications for completed designs.
  • Create product specifications and data sheets for Go To Outsourcing's products.
  • Value-engineer existing products to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to integrate the latest technologies into business operations.
  • Support manufacturing and sales teams with expertise and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Educated to HND/HNC standard in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering design role within the lighting or related industries.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD software; knowledge of Relux Lighting Design software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for interacting with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and team collaboration skills.

Working Arrangements:

This is a senior role with flexible working arrangements. The ideal candidate will be available to start before the end of the year. Salary range: £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience).
