Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Orthopaedic Practitioner to join the Fracture clinic Plaster room team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist casting and post-operative wound care to Trauma & Orthopaedic patients. Additionally, they will engage in the delivery of a same-day casting service to Plastics Trauma, Diabetic Podiatry patients, and ED MUA clinics when required.

About the Role

The post holder will also be required to assist in the delivery of training and education to areas within the Trust who use Plaster of Paris. Furthermore, they will provide expert patient/carer/staff advice when a cast is applied.

Working Pattern

The working pattern for this role is 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
