Job Opportunity for a Physical Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Physical Rehabilitation Specialist in Orthopaedics.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Elective Orthopaedic service at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Hospital, supporting the Therapy teams in the assessment, diagnosis & treatment of patients following elective orthopaedic surgery.

The post holder will work closely with therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality rehabilitation care to patients, focusing on early mobilisation and rapid discharge where possible.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing effective rehabilitation plans, and providing close liaison with family, carers, and external agencies to ensure safe and effective transfer of care.

Requirements
  • Hold a Level 5 Assistant Practitioner qualification or be currently enrolled on the training programme
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Working Arrangements

This is a 37.5 hour/week permanent position, working between 8am and 8pm over 7 days. The successful candidate will be paid between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
