About the Role

As a Rail Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist, you will manage the delivery of asset maintenance and reactive maintenance works. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inspections, repairs, and ongoing maintenance of rail and civil structures, ensuring all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Manage maintenance and reactive works across rail infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, embankments, culverts, and station infrastructure">
  • Ensure projects meet program, budget, and compliance requirements, including health & safety plans, work package plans, and task briefings">
  • Quality and environmental standards">
  • Contract terms and conditions">
  • Respond to reactive maintenance needs, deploying resources to minimize disruption">
  • Collaborate with site teams and surveyors to ensure seamless project delivery">
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide formal reports to senior management">
  • Promote continuous improvement in maintenance practices and team performance">

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled professional with:

  • ">
  • Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent, or a Site Manager">
  • Experience with reactive and asset maintenance works">
  • Strong understanding of rail infrastructure standards and safety requirements">
  • Flexibility to respond to reactive works, including night or weekend shifts">
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills">

What's on Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience, plus a company car or car allowance, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service).
