About the Position

We are currently seeking a skilled Asset Maintenance Specialist to join our Glasgow-based Asset Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance teams. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage maintenance and reactive works across rail infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, embankments, culverts, and station infrastructure.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with site teams and surveyors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide formal reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent, ideally within maintenance or rail projects.
  • SMSTS and PTS certifications.
  • Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with reactive and asset maintenance works.
  • Strong understanding of rail infrastructure standards and safety requirements.
  • Flexibility to respond to reactive works, including night or weekend shifts.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
