Job Description:

This is a contract position outside of IR35, offering the opportunity to work on exciting rail infrastructure projects. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our clients by delivering high-quality civil design services.

To succeed in this role, you must have experience as a CRE (Design) with a strong background in rail design. You should also be able to work from our offices in Glasgow or York for three days a week and remotely for two days.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work as a CRE (Design) on large-scale rail infrastructure projects
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  3. Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients throughout the project lifecycle
  4. Maintain accurate records of design progress and ensure compliance with industry standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in civil design engineering with a focus on rail infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a CRE (Design) on large-scale projects
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in civil design engineering

Estimated Salary Range: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on the level of experience and qualifications required for this role. Our salary range reflects the market rate for this position, taking into account factors such as location and industry standards.
