Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a valued member of our Land Services team, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential land acquisition services related to infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Securing appropriate land rights for large-scale development projects
  • Negotiating access to and acquiring land for high-profile infrastructure projects using statutory powers and other available mechanisms
  • Liaising with landowners, land agents, legal representatives, planning authorities, stakeholders, contractors, and clients
  • Managing and settling compensation claims (voluntary and compulsory purchase)
  • Supporting early career professionals in technical training and career development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in land acquisition and property-related services
  • Experience in negotiating with landowners and knowledge of the legal process for acquiring property and rights
  • Ability to manage and settle voluntary and compulsory purchase compensation claims
  • Experience in infrastructure development schemes, particularly in the road, rail, gas, electricity, or renewable energy sector
  • Fully qualified to drive in the UK
