Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant to support students with special educational needs (SEND) in a primary and secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one and group support to enhance students' independence and confidence in academic and social settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement strategies to support students with SEND, including autism, dyslexia, and emotional/behavioral difficulties.
  • Familiarity with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) is beneficial for this role.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with students with SEND, particularly within primary and secondary school settings.
  • A full-time commitment is required for this role.
  • Driving licence is beneficial, although access to reliable transport is crucial for travel between schools if necessary.
