Job Summary

As a key member of the Remedy Social Work team, the Strategic Housing Project Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the future of housing development in Southwark. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, this individual will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of new housing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic framework for the design, development, and delivery of new housing projects, aligning with council priorities and ensuring efficient delivery within the programme.

• Negotiate agreements and contracts with developers and key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Southwark Construction projects.

• Lead and evaluate a performance management framework for a team of project management staff, ensuring the integration of Southwark Stands Together and effective management of projects within the designated programme.

• Develop a culture of openness and transparency, ensuring the participation of all stakeholders in the construction process.

Requirements

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in construction programme management, strategic planning, and leadership. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
