Job Summary
Our client, a leading Lloyds Underwriting Agency, is seeking a highly skilled Motor Claims Handler to join their expanding Motor department in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of Personal Injury claims, utilizing their expertise to negotiate settlements and provide exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage claims through applicable portals, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Negotiate policyholder and third-party claims to settlement, including Personal Injury claims.
- Communicate effectively with brokers, solicitors, and adjusters to ensure seamless claim processing.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes, maintaining compliance and quality standards.
- Liaise with underwriters on claims issues, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers, upholding the company's reputation for excellence.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar claims role, with a strong understanding of Personal Injury Motor claims.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of RTA and Credit Hire, with a solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the MOJ portal, with experience in using it to manage claims.

- Permanent position, based in Essex with a hybrid working arrangement.
- Competitive salary range of £30,000 - £32,000, depending on experience.
