Harrison Holgate is a leading provider of insurance services, dedicated to delivering exceptional results to our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Handler - Personal Injury to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Apply our company's reserving philosophy to ensure accurate and efficient claims handling.
- Manage claims through various portals, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Negotiate with policyholders and third parties to achieve successful settlements.
- Communicate effectively with brokers, solicitors, and adjusters to ensure seamless claim processing.
- Assist with internal and external audits to maintain compliance and quality standards.
- Liaise with underwriters to resolve claims-related issues and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of insurance coverage, benefits, and exclusions.
- Good understanding of legal liability and supporting case law.
- Understanding and application of legal and regulatory issues related to policy wordings.
- Knowledge of the Ministry of Justice reforms, Road Traffic Act, and Credit Hire.
- Experience with Personal Injury evaluation tools and handling PI claims in both portals and outside.
