Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Great Yarmouth. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in the management and testing of soil samples, working closely with our Laboratory Manager and other technicians and engineers.
Your responsibilities will include taking receipt of samples, checking against proforma, and booking them into our Laboratory system. You will also be responsible for carrying out sub-sampling in accordance with test schedules and logging in accordance with relevant standards.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in chemistry or geology, who is able to become familiar with testing procedures and standards. Experience working in a laboratory environment is desirable, but not essential. A good command of written and spoken English is required, as well as the ability to travel.
