Maintenance Scheduler and Administrator

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Administrator to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's facilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Organise and schedule engineers and contractors for maintenance and repair work.
- Ensure all appointments are logged and managed efficiently to minimise disruption to school operations.
- Raise and log maintenance issues on the service desk system.
- Monitor and update the status of open jobs and escalate urgent matters as necessary.
- Update the team regularly on job progress and completion.
- Assist in raising and processing invoices.
- Provide general administrative support to the estates and facilities team as needed.
**Requirements:**
A strong ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and service desk or facilities management software.
