Job Title: Derivative Oversight Associate 2

State Street is enhancing its outsource service provision through client projects by deploying leading-edge technology and services. We are seeking a talented investment operations business professional to play a key role in delivering a successful solution.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to oversee the offshore ETD team, ensuring that all ETD processing is confirmed with the market, marked to market with internal records, margin payments are processed, and reconciled to external counterparts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of offshore ETD team, demonstrating the ability to work independently.
  • Oversight of the offshore team performing internal positions reconciliations against the clearing broker, ensuring resolution of issues.
  • Oversight of offshore team ensuring all mark to market internal system records are completed and resolved.
  • Oversight of offshore team ensuring all internal records are reconciled to external counterparts.
  • Production and supply of accurate and timely data to external parties in accordance with procedures.
  • Assistance to the manager by providing statistics and Key Performance Indicators for the team.
  • Active involvement in the implementation of new processes and the improvement of existing ones.
  • Assistance in the deployment of new tranches of Global clients for all ETD aspects, including Clearing Broker, Custodian, and Fund Accounting.
Requirements
  • Minimal knowledge of ETD products and markets, the margining and reconciliation process.
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills to audiences of different sizes and levels of seniority.
  • PC literate - Word & Excel skills necessary.
Other
  • Business travel domestically and possibly at short notice.
  • Flexible working hours may be required.
