About Our Client

This local academy trust seeks a skilled Finance Manager to join their close-knit team and contribute to their financial operations.

Job Description
  1. Lead the operational finance function, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  2. Offer comprehensive financial support to schools within the trust.
  3. Manage financial administration, including purchasing, payments, banking, and income processing.
  4. Prepare VAT returns efficiently and on schedule.
  5. Serve as finance system administrator, controlling user access and workflow.
  6. Work closely with the CFO to develop and implement financial procedures.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in supporting teams, and a solid understanding of high-volume processing. Holding an AAT qualification or being on track to achieve it is beneficial, as well as possessing strong core accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
