We are working with a local academy trust to find an experienced Transactional Finance Manager who can lead their day-to-day operational finance function.
About the Role- Lead the operational finance team, ensuring high accuracy and compliance levels.
- Provide comprehensive financial support to schools within the trust.
- Oversee financial administration related to purchasing, payments, banking, and income processing.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Manage finance system users and workflow as administrator.
- Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to develop and implement standard operating procedures.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in supporting teams, and knowledge of high-volume processing. An AAT qualification or progress towards one is desirable, along with strong core accounting concepts and financial reporting skills.
