Home Care Support Worker

At Helping Hands, we've been supporting adults of all ages to maintain their independence since 1989.
We're looking for individuals who are passionate about care and want to make a difference in people's lives. While prior social care experience is not required, you do need to have the Right to Work in the UK and hold a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle.
This role offers flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle, including various shift patterns across mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends.
As a Home Care Support Worker, you can expect a competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on your location and experience. Our benefits package includes:
- Paid mileage of 35p per mile between calls
- Early Pay App request up to 50% of your pay in advance of payday
- Earn up to £100 for referring a friend

Your key responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care tasks, such as showering, bathing, and toileting
- Helping clients with mobility around their home
- Overseeing medication and providing medical support
- Assisting with household chores, like cleaning, cooking, and tidying
- Running errands, such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
