Job Title: Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer / Compliance Engineer to join our team at Premier Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and compliance, with a keen interest in working in a Quality Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess electrical product compliance and reliability for relevant regulations and governing bodies
  • Collaborate with the Design and Manufacturing team to ensure products meet industry standards
  • Lead compliance and regulatory activities to improve product and process reliability
  • Work with other teams to meet CE regulations
  • Assist in auditing processes for the facility
  • Ensure components are manufactured with environmental standards in mind
Requirements:
  • Qualified in Engineering (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) or qualified by experience
  • Experience in a similar Quality, Compliance, Certification, Reliability or similar role
  • Industry experience within Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Previous experience working with industrial electrical products
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exposure to various governing bodies and regulations
  • Ability to lead compliance and reliability activities
  • Previous experience with ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949 or similar
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Keen to develop with the company long term
