We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an English as an Additional Language Teaching Assistant at a School in Havering. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide personalized support to students with EAL needs.

About the Role

This term-time position involves delivering inclusive learning experiences that cater to children's diverse needs. Key responsibilities include working one-on-one or in small groups, collaborating with professionals, and creating a safe and supportive environment for all students. Prior experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience working with children who have EAL and SEN
  • A degree from a reputable UK university
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes access to a range of benefits, including pension schemes and career development opportunities.
