Supporting Students in Education

Educators are invited to apply for a Graduate Teaching Assistant position with Empowering Learning in Romford, focusing on supporting students with diverse needs.

In this vital role, you will provide academic and social support to students with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and Social Emotional Mental Health.

Role Requirements:
  • Supporting students with various learning difficulties
  • Developing engaging learning experiences for pupils
  • Calmly managing challenging behaviors
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Capacity to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate challenging situations
  • Valid DBS registration (or willingness to apply)
  • Availability 5 days a week for at least 1-6 months
