Job Title: Technical Support Specialist / Business Intelligence Consultant

Job Summary: Proactive Solutions Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist / Business Intelligence Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist / Business Intelligence Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical support and consultancy services to our European customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and consultancy services to our European customer base.
  • Assist customers with software installations and configurations on various supported platforms.
  • Document customer solutions for internal reference and customer benefit.
  • Manage full life cycle Business Intelligence and reporting projects for customers.
  • Prepare for and/or conduct training classes.
  • Prepare training materials and quick reference guides to support customers.
  • Provide sales representatives with pre-sales support and perform technical demonstrations.
  • Attend trade organization events to promote our products and services.
  • Travel will be required, including limited international travel.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and staff.
  • Knowledge of current supported hardware and software platforms in one or more operating systems.
  • Troubleshooting proficiency with relational database connectivity issues.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases and data dictionary concepts.
  • Experience in developing reports using a Business Intelligence tool or reporting using a programming language.
  • Background in software development.
  • A relevant computer science degree.
