About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Redde Northgate plc. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our customers' receivables, ensuring timely payments and maintaining a positive relationship with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customers, ensuring prompt payment of invoices and resolving any disputes or issues that may arise.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Work closely with our sales team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Monitor and analyze customer payment trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow.
- Collaborate with our credit team to ensure effective credit risk management and minimize bad debt.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our credit control processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in credit control or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail.
