Supported Living Worker Opportunity

Experience Guildford is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Supported Living Worker to join our team. As a key member of our supported living service, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities to live independently.

Job Description:

  • Work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, developing personalized support plans to meet these objectives.
  • Assist our clients with daily tasks, such as household chores, meal planning, and shopping, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with our clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Support: Provide high-quality support to our clients, enabling them to plan and coordinate their daily lives.
  2. Daily Activities: Assist our clients with daily tasks, such as personal care, medication administration, and household maintenance.
  3. Health and Safety: Monitor and report any concerns or incidents related to our clients' health and well-being.
  4. Teamwork: Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective support delivery.

Requirements:

  • Education: You must have a relevant qualification in social care or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience working in a similar role, preferably in supported living or adult care.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with our clients and their families.

  • Competitive Salary: £24,139 per annum (pro-rata).

  • Flexible Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, with flexibility to work on a rotational rota pattern covering Monday-Sunday.
  • Ongoing Support: Regular supervision and support from our experienced management team.
