Customer Solutions Consultant – South West UK (Temporary Maternity Cover – FTC up to 1 year)

We are looking for a full-time Customer Solutions Consultant to join our team. Your role is to demonstrate value and present solutions to new and existing businesses through close alignment with the territory account managers. As a UPS Customer Solutions Consultant, you will have monthly and annual revenue targets to achieve as well as supporting the sales team of your aligned territory. To be successful in the role, you must have exceptional organisational and communication skills as you will present to different industry verticals. The territory primarily covers the South West of the UK, so a willingness to travel is essential.
This is a Temporary Position to cover for a maternity leave until June 2025.

What you'll do:
- Be accountable for your territory and opportunity pipeline through proactive engagement with the account management team.
- Create and maintain customer presentations with clear value propositions.
- Develop and maintain sales opportunities captured in the CRM (Salesforce) by working closely with the account managers and the Solutions implementation team.
- Analysing supply chains and business processes to identify customer challenges and position standard or customised solutions.
- Collaboration with colleagues from other departments and countries to continuously expand your internal network.
- You will take part in a wide range of training courses and receive the most important know-how for your job – not only at the beginning, but throughout your time with us.
- You take over your own customers together with the sales department and you jointly develop new strategies for their further development.
- You take over the project management for a variety of customer projects and are an important interface between customer, sales and specialist departments.
- You ensure that sales targets and customer expectations are met and exceeded.
Your Responsibilities:
- Facilitate meetings with customers and solution experts to address project implementation challenges and modifications and demonstrate solution functionality, solicit feedback, and address questions.
- Maintain customer relationships to ensure solutions meet customers' needs and expectations.
- Document and report account activity and project events on Salesforce (e.g., customer visits and phone calls, training, etc.) to ensure account team members are informed of customer activity.
- Conduct formal and information training (i.e., technology solutions) to ensure the sales force remains current with UPS solutions and enhancements.
- Prepare and present reports (e.g., trends, technology initiatives, etc.) to provide relevant and current information to the district sales staff.
- Register customers for products and deliver product training to ensure customers have the education and information to effectively use UPS's products.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (Preferred).
- Experience in Business-to-Business or Business-to-Consumer sales (Preferred).
- Enjoyment of communication and teamwork.
- Analytical and creative thinking.
- Ideally knowledge of logistical workflows.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum one year residency and right to work in the UK.
- A full, clean driving license (for at least two years).
- Willingness to travel.
