We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team in Morpeth. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a teenage girl with a neurological condition to access the local community and participate in leisure activities.

About the Position

This is a part-time role, approximately 13 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.09/hour. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support, close supervision, and intervening when necessary. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children or demonstrate their ability to do so.

As a member of our team, you will receive full training where necessary, including epilepsy awareness and first aid. We are looking for someone who is flexible, able to take reasonable care of their own safety and the safety of others, and has a valid driving license with business insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the young person to access the local community and participate in leisure activities
  • Monitor physical changes and intervene when necessary
  • Support with personal care tasks such as dressing, undressing, bathing, and maintaining personal appearance
