We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary School SEMH support specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support and teaching to students with SEMH needs in a challenging behaviour setting.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEMH needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver targeted interventions and support plans.
  • Provide regular progress updates and contribute to student assessments and reporting.

About the Location:

The role is based in Carshalton, located in the London Borough of Sutton. We offer a competitive daily rate of GBP160 - GBP250 and a contract type of 5 days a week, Full-Time.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching KS3 or primary-aged students, ideally in a PRU or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A valid DBS on the update service.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Proven teaching experience.
