About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Infraspec, a leading provider of construction and infrastructure services. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in delivering complex construction projects and ensuring financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain cost plans and cost estimates for large-scale projects, working closely with project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Control project costs and prevent overruns by tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct accurate measurement, rate analysis, and risk assessments to inform project decisions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement procurement strategies, and administer contracts for design and construction contracts.
  • Provide regular cost reporting and forecasting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a cost engineering, contract management, or commercial role within the construction or infrastructure sectors, with a strong understanding of NEC contracts and contract administration.
  • Degree-level education in a relevant engineering, construction, or business-related field, with a strong understanding of web-based contract management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
