About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Infraspec, a leading provider of construction and infrastructure services. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in delivering complex construction projects and ensuring financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Planning and Control: Develop and maintain cost plans and cost estimates for large-scale projects, working closely with project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts for design and construction contracts, including change management and procurement exercises.
  • Cost Management: Control project costs and prevent overruns by tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and provide optimal value.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a cost engineering, contract management, or commercial role within the construction or infrastructure sectors, working on projects typically over £5 million.
  • Education: Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering, construction, or business-related field.
  • Skills: Full working knowledge and understanding of using web-based contract management tools (e.g. CEMAR), thorough understanding of NEC suite of contracts, and associated contract administration and negotiations.
