We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in the Newton Aycliffe workshop.
About KION GroupLinde is one of the world's leading manufacturers of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, operating in over 100 countries worldwide with around 13,000 employees. Our extensive network of service technicians ensures maximum availability of our products and solutions, backed by our global logistics network guaranteeing spare part delivery within 24 hours.
Our Commitment to ExcellenceWe offer a range of challenging careers across the country, and we're keen to discuss the direction you'd like your career to take.
The RoleWe're looking for experienced vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have worked as forklift technicians, plant fitters, or similar roles. Familiarity with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners may make this position ideal.
You'll be responsible for finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults, as well as performing preventative maintenance on our forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites.
A Message from One of Our Engineers'Linde works well for me because my work schedule suits my lifestyle, providing a better work-life balance. I previously worked shifts, including weekends and nights, which made it difficult to plan family activities. My annual leave was challenging to book unless reserved a year in advance, and working bank holidays was required.'
'Now, I enjoy regular coffee breaks and informal catch-ups with my team and managers. Before joining Linde, I met with my team only once a year. The support from my colleagues and management here is invaluable.'
