Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at The Julian Hospital in Norwich. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older adults with complex mental health needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of mental health conditions. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care and support.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our services, participate in research and quality improvement initiatives, and work closely with our education and training team to support the development of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to older adults with complex mental health needs
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of our services and participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support the development of junior staff through education and training
Requirements
  • Entry on the GMC Register
  • Approved Clinician Status
  • Section 12(2) Approval under the Mental Health Act
  • Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCST
