We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our acute in-patient psychiatric care unit in Norwich, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients in central and south Norfolk.

Competitive Remuneration Package
  • New Starter package of £15,000 spread over 3 years as a retention bonus
  • £12,000 relocation allowance
  • Loyalty Scheme Bonus of £2,500 over the subsequent 5 years of service
  • CPD of £2,000 per annum with the facility to accumulate annual funding for up to three years
  • Holiday of a lifetime scheme: Consultants and SASG doctors can bank/accrue annual leave over a period of up to 5 years
Leadership Opportunities
  • Up to £12k relocation expenses
  • Access to £2000 per annum professional development budget
  • Dedicated SPA time of up to 25% of working hours
  • Paid study leave (on application and approval) in addition to CPD
  • Inclusion on the Consultant on-call rota for the higher level with 3%, 5% or 8% requisite pay depending on frequency

  • Access and encouragement to partake in research and a well-established research network within the Trust
  • Support for Quality Improvement, Audit and Service development
  • Flexibility can be considered for a degree of remote working
Requirements
  • Driving Licence/able to travel independently
  • Experience of supervising junior medical staff
  • Section 12(2) Approved under the Mental Health Act (MHA)
  • 3 years or equivalent medical experience
