Job Title: Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Location: Brent

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

Salary: £105 - £110 per day

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary School in Brent. As a Unqualified Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be working with Primary School children who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural difficulties
  • Work effectively as part of a team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to meet the needs of SEN pupils
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Good degree from a reputable University
  • Good understanding of SEN and its impact on children's learning
  • Experience working with children with SEN (desirable)
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN and making a positive impact on their lives
  • Calm and compassionate nature, with excellent communication skills
