Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our thriving team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services to children and young people in Newham.

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, providing specialist assessments, therapy, and recommendations, and contributing to the planning, development, and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy Service for Children. With a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, you will work closely with other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload and provide specialist-level assessments, therapy, and recommendations to complex clients with functional difficulties.
  • Support more junior staff and students through supervision, teaching, and appraisal.
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy Service for Children.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £42,939 to £50,697 per annum, plus Outer London weighting, for this permanent, full-time position. In addition, you will benefit from:

  • 1:1 monthly supervision, appraisal, and CPD.
  • Bi-monthly team meetings.
  • Involvement in audit and quality improvement.
